Astros Manager Joe Espada spoke with the media ahead of Wednesday's game and revealed that starting pitcher Ronel Blanco is dealing with elbow soreness, and flew back to Houston to be further evaluated by doctors.
It's not great news for a pitching staff that just lost Hayden Wesneski for the season, and continues to be without Spencer Arrighetti who broke his thumb several weeks ago.
