Is There a Reunion Coming for the Astros?

There has been a lot said throughout the winter about the future of Yuli Gurriel with the Houston Astros. Just this past weekend at fan fest, Jeff Bagwell even discussed how much they would like to bring Yuli back, even after filling his spot at first base with Jose Abreu.

The assumption of late has been that Yuli would land with the Miami Marlins, which makes a lot of sense. The Marlins would provide far more playing time and keep him locked at first base, while the Astros role would be more of a utility role. But according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, we can pump the brakes on Yuli to the Marlins.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. Yuli will land a job somewhere, but it feels like if he is back in Houston it would be because of the lack of a bigger role elsewhere. You would think he would like to get this wrapped up before teams report to their spring training facilities.
