Now, the Houston Rockets have agreed to a contract extension with center Alperen Sengun. Bobby Marks of ESPN is reporting that Sengun and the organization have agreed on a five-year deal, that is worth $185 million dollars.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Jalen Green had agreed on a three-year extension, worth $106 million. The third year of that extension is a player option.
Sengun was selected 16th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Rockets acquired Sengun through a trade with OKC.
The Rockets starting center has averaged nearly 15 points per game in his three season NBA career. He has also averaged nearly 8 rebounds and a block per game in his 210 game Rockets career.
